- Began construction of Cdn$950 million 6,000 tonne-per-day mine and concentrator at Voisey's Bay
2005
- Construction completed
- First concentrate shipped November 17th.
2011
- Concentrate exports cease except for some continued exports during commissioning and ramp up of the nickel processing plant
2018 (approximately)
- Underground mine development and expansion of concentrator, subject to completion of successful underground exploration program
