Contract Scope
Tailings Reliability Plan (Standby Line Heat Tracing) Material Supply
Vale Inco requires a qualified Vendor to supply the Heat Tracing Material for the Insulated Carbon Steel Piping for the project as generally described below.

Site Location: Anaktalak Bay, Labrador
General: To supply the Heat Tracing material required for the Tailings Standby Pipeline of similar characteristics to the existing tailings line, from the Mill Concentrator Service Tunnel to Headwater Pond, a distance of approximately 8.2 Km.
General Requirements:
The 8km long 8” diameter Tailings Standby Pipeline will be of steel pipe, lined with HDPE, all sections of the Pipeline, will be insulated and heat traced.
Pipeline will be constructed of 300m Sections flange to flange.
